Littleton Youth Sports is proud to host our Learn to Play Lacrosse Program for boys and girls, new and beginner. Learn to Play is an opportunity for new and beginning players to try lacrosse in a fun, supportive, confidence-building environment with our experienced Lacrosse staff!


No equipment is necessary, Littleton Thunder will provide the sticks and gloves for this program, just come ready to learn how to play the great sport of lacrosse in a fun, encouraging learning environment.


Littleton Thunder's Learn to Play program is based on the principles of the US Lacrosse Athlete Development Model(LADM) which gives the youngest players the opportunity to develop basic movement skills like running, jumping, landing, kicking, scooping, throwing, catching and shooting in a fun setting built around informal play and positive reinforcement. 



Thunder Mites - Boys and girls, new and beginning player’s pre K – 2nd grade

Intermediate - Boys and girls, new and beginning player’s 3rd – 8th grade


Learn to Lax with Littleton Thunder this spring in a six week program with clinics 2X per week focusing on the fundamentals of lacrosse. Passing, catching, shooting, cradling, face-offs, running, footwork and understanding the game. This program is designed to help players learn the fundamentals of the game and gain confidence and coordination prior to joining the spring AYL league. The Thunder Mites and Intermediate age players will be grouped to play small sided 3X games and competitions against other players in their respective age groups. This program will utilize sticks and gloves only.
